Consultations
Consultations & planning
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes — every treatment at NexGen begins with a one-to-one consultation covering your goals, medical history and suitability. It protects your safety and your result, and there is never any obligation to proceed.
Is the consultation free?
Discovery calls are free, and consultation fees (where they apply) are explained clearly before you book. Consultation charges are typically redeemable against treatment.
Can I be treated on the same day as my consultation?
Sometimes, where clinically appropriate and where you have had proper time to consider. For certain treatments we deliberately build in a cooling-off period — good decisions are never rushed.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Just yourself, an idea of your goals and any relevant medical history or medication details. Reference photos can be helpful for treatments like lip fillers.
Safety
Safety & standards
Are your treatments safe?
All aesthetic treatments carry some degree of risk, which is exactly why suitability assessment, honest consent conversations and structured aftercare matter. We operate as a regulated practice with strict clinical protocols and will always explain risks specific to your treatment plan.
Who carries out the treatments?
Treatments are performed by experienced practitioners working within their scope of practice, following documented clinical protocols and using reputable, well-studied products and devices.
What if something concerns me after treatment?
You will leave with written aftercare and a direct way to contact the clinic. If anything concerns you while you settle, contact us promptly — aftercare support is part of the treatment, not an extra.
Do you treat everyone who books?
No. If a treatment is not suitable, or we believe it will not achieve what you are hoping for, we will tell you honestly and suggest alternatives — including no treatment at all.
Practical
Pricing, booking & downtime
How much do treatments cost?
Pricing depends on the treatment, products used and your personalised plan, and is confirmed transparently at consultation before anything is booked. There are no hidden costs.
How do I book?
You can book online through our booking page, call us on +44 7496 337421, or message us on WhatsApp. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day.
Where are you located?
NexGen Clinic is at 2a Thoday Street, Cambridge CB1 3AS — just off Mill Road, a short walk from central Cambridge. Visit our clinic page for directions and opening hours.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for reasonable notice if you need to move an appointment so the slot can be offered to another client. Full details are provided when you book.
Is there downtime after treatments?
It varies by treatment — from none at all to a few days of swelling or redness. Downtime expectations are always explained honestly at consultation so you can plan around events.
